NEC Solutions America selected Fourth Medium
Consulting to fulfill the Chief Architect and Chief
Methodologist roles for this transformational 4th
generation Japanese Banking System program. Our
consultants served alongside senior management to
deliver an OPEN solution to 11 of Japan's largest banks
which also was to facilitate new banking transaction
processes and Japan's ATM revolution. This program
involved some of the most unique management challenges
of its era, including the coordination of over 1100
offshore developers distributed in 3 sites in India and
China, with the repatriation of software assets in Japan
for final acceptance testing. Coupled with a need
for Tokyo based Business process analysis and
requirements engineering coordination with a San Jose
California software architecture center-of-excellence,
this initiative led to several key innovations largely
influenced by our experts.
Fourth Medium Consulting delivered on the following
service objectives:
