- IT Delivery Enactment Architecture
Contrary
to certain beliefs within the software
engineering industry, leveraging automation and tools
represents opportunities for drastic productivity
enhancements. Specifically the
state-of-the-practice is to leverage holistic
workflow-oriented systems to enable collaboration at
scale. Continuous process improvement requires a
rich base of event-data that results from such
infrastructure. Similarly, when faced with the realities of
SOX and SAS-70 compliance, demand-to-release, process
enactment is essential. Many terms exist for
various components of the SDLC infrastructure puzzle,
with the newest being the term "Application
Lifecycle Management".
The
challenge that exists even today is that no one vendor
has a complete, holistic turn-key vision or
solution. Having grown up through acquisitions,
vendor workflow integration is driven by vendor competitive strategy and not the realities of
the business problem facing IT executives and
directors. Some vendors are moving closer to the
ideals of Lean-Agile in their infrastructure
capabilities, but are still weighed by a lack of
cooperation amongst themselves. This leads to the
inevitability that multiple vendor components
must be leveraged with integrations driven to support
the delivery process strategy for an enterprise, rather
than the other way around.
Fourth
Medium Consulting understands the issues discussed
above, and more importantly can deliver from our broad
base of assets to lower the risk of yielding the
productivity enhancements that such infrastructure
affords. Our strong relationship with IBM Rational
enables us to leverage the industry leading
infrastructure components for enacting enterprise scale
IT value streams. But the orchestration of these
components is architected to realize the entire product
delivery lifecycle driven by our deep understanding of
software engineering methodology. Most other
consultants have silo'd and limited knowledge that
results in points of friction around their knowledge-area
weaknesses.

Our
consultants leverage FMC's rich architectural and
process enactment assets to deliver a robust SOA that
fits the realities of transformation constraints and
specific client context issues. We invite you to

solution and its various components including:
