Mark Kennaley

Mr. Kennaley is a senior consultant who provides services focused on improving the Enterprise IT Value-Stream.  With over 25 years experience within the Information Technology industry, Mark has served clients as a trusted advisor on numerous engagements. He has delivered value in various roles including Management Consultant, Mentor/Coach, Enterprise Architect, Project Manager/Lead, Process Improvement Analyst and Process Engineer.   Some engagements have been some of the largest software developments within the industry, with headcount in the 1000's, worldwide geographical distribution, cultural diversity and extremely large financial scope.   Notable examples include the re-engineering of the Japanese Banking System and the re-engineering of the Personnel and Payroll systems for the entire United States Department of Defense.  He has pragmatically leveraged many bodies of knowledge and a wide range of technologies in delivering innovative solutions to business problems. 

Mark holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, and leverages his profession and its rigor to deepen industry norms and challenge popular views.   Through his experience, lateral vision and analytical abilities, he is uniquely positioned to help enterprises enhance business efficiency and effectiveness.

Carson Holmes

Mr. Holmes is focused on  helping clients achieve their IT Governance and process improvement goals, with pragmatic process, policy, and metrics.  With over 23 years of commercial software engineering experience, he has a proven record of successful projects across a variety of industries, including finance, trading, banking, defense, healthcare, and automotive. Carson is a natural leader skilled at building great teams and delivering technology solutions that maximum business value.  As a management consultant, he is an agent for change and often works with senior level executives to fine tune their organizations for performance, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Mr. Holmes is the President of the Global Rational User Group, and the Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego chapters. He is a strong advocate for the community and works closely with IBM to provide industry feedback on RTC, RUP, OpenUP, RMC, WBM, RQM, Jazz, Green Thread projects, and Open Services.  He is also active on community forums and is a “Valued Contributor” on IBM Developer Works.  Carson regularly presents at user groups and software conferences.  Carson holds a degree in computer science and engineering from University of California, Los Angeles.
